John Percy died on Wednesday August 19, 2015 in Sydney, after suffering a severe stroke. On August 25 around 100 gathered at Erskineville Town Hall, Sydney, to hear reflections on John's life from his family and from those who had worked with him over his 50 years of revolutionary activism.
